May

Wine for the Win

They say all good things come in threes, and wine is no exception. Therefore, we’ll take on May through three grapey tips.

1. The Wine Festival

After last year’s success, we at NOFO are bringing back our wine festival for the second year in a row. This year’s edition will take place on May 24th, running all day from 12 PM to 8 PM. Expect a solid lineup of wine suppliers on site, and two tasting sessions: one dedicated to orange wines, the other to sparkling wine. Apart from that, we’ll also be serving live music and an amazing vibe out in our garden. Hard to imagine a more perfect spring day, right?

2. The Wine Shelf

For her graduation project in industrial design, Konstfack student Anna Salmonson chose to collaborate with NOFO — lucky us! True to her hands-on approach, Anna asked herself what we truly needed, and set out to design something that was both functional and reflective of NOFO’s personality: spontaneity, warmth, and a sense of playful curiosity.

That resulted in a custom-made wine shelf, inspired by Japanese joinery, French bistro vibes, and Bauhaus aesthetics — completely integrated into the NOFO environment. Crafted from cork and oak, the shelf is designed to display bottles label-out, like a true celebration of wine.

The shelf will be on display at Konstfack’s Spring Exhibition, running May 14–23, alongside a range of inspiring student work in design and art.

3. The Wine Release

For too long, rosé has been dismissed as sweet and, to be honest, a bit trashy. But with Pompette’s latest wine release, that perception is officially outdated.

Just in time for the spring and summer season, they’re introducing Arndorfer, a rosé “with character,” as they put it. With bold notes of wild raspberry and wild strawberry, it brings more umph than your average rosé and makes a solid case for the pink bottle being back for good.
